I first became interested in theatre lighting and design when I was around 15.  After leaving college, I initially gained experience in practical stage lighting, installation and maintenance work, working for Showhire (Retford).

Projects I have worked on include the re-furbishment of the Majestic Theatre (Retford).  I further developed my portfolio working on a range of stage productions, from straight plays to pantomimes.  In 2006 I was invited to create the lighting design for Young Inspirations production of 'Les Miserables' staged at the Pomegranate Theatre, Chesterfield and have since worked on 'We Will Rock You', 'The Full Monty' and also more recently 'Sweeney Todd' with this company.

For five years I was part of the creative team and LX designer for the annual Community Pantomime staged at the Terry O' Toole Theatre, Lincolnshire.

I'm retained by Worksop College on an annual basis to provide technical advice and support to A Level Drama students for the practical course assessments and LX design for school productions.

Future Projects include the design for Back to the Eighties, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Beauty and the Beast.
